King Oil Tools’ newly designed KD-12 drilling rig is equipped with dual carousels with each carousel holding eight 20-foot joints of 3-inch pipe, which comes out to 320 feet of pipe on board. Mounted on a Ford F-600, the footprint allows it into tight jobsites.
The KD-12 has customizable options to meet the customer’s needs. One option is its belly pack (remote controls) to set up the drill, which controls all four leveling jacks and the mast-raising cylinders, to allow the capability to walk around the drill while setting it up for the day.
