THE BEST ADVICE I EVER RECEIVED?
The best piece of career advice I ever received was from my mom. She told me to “earn their trust.” Whether it’s a client, coworker, or vendor, once you’ve earned someone’s trust, new opportunities, information, and collaboration come your way.

IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT YOUR PROFESSIONAL SELF?
I can find myself wanting to please everyone all at once. Good customer service is so important. I try my best to focus on one thing at a time. Don’t overstretch and lose focus of what each customer’s needs are—big or small.

MOST SATISFYING PART OF YOUR JOB?
Working with my husband, Robert. We make a great team and our talents complement each other. I’m proud of the business we built from the ground up. It satisfies us both knowing that these machines solve specific problems many professionals experience at well sites.

HOW HAS YOUR WELL PUMP PULLER BEEN RECEIVED IN THE WATER WELL, GEOTHERMAL, AND LANDFILL INDUSTRIES?
The product has been received well. Based on our growth in sales, there is an obvious need for portable pump puller and pipe installing machines. There are many circumstances where our compact machines are used if a truck cannot get into a tight, challenging space.

THE NO. 1 QUESTION YOU GET WHEN EXPLAINING YOUR PUMP PULLER AND PIPE INSTALLER MACHINES?
How difficult is it to use? The machine is easy to use and can even be a one-man job. To operate, there are up, down, and neutral controls and a clamp control system. The machines wheel like a hand truck to the well site. There is no heavy lifting involved.

YOUR COMPANY BEGAN IN 2011. WHAT HAVE YOU SINCE LEARNED ABOUT THE WATER WELL INDUSTRY?
I’ve seen a rise in how the water well industry is innovating products. Professionals are always seeking new, more efficient ways to do things.
There are many manufacturers like us creating new products and technologies that help support how groundwater professionals service wells.

FAVORITE PART OF TALKING WITH ATTENDEES AT GROUNDWATER WEEK OR STATE SHOWS?
I love when our current customers visit our booth. They tell my husband and me how much this machine has helped their business. We even have customers who have started their own company off our machine. The good word of mouth is definitely a bonus too!
