Water Quality Association Celebrates 50-Year Anniversary

The Water Quality Association is highlighting its 50 years as a trade organization in the water industry.

Established in 1974, WQA was founded in the merge between the Water Conditioning Association and the Water Conditioning Foundation, which included the merge with the Water Quality Research Council, an organization founded in 1952 that is now recognized as the Water Quality Research Foundation. This merger of organizations resulted in a singular voice that could better address growing concerns and showcase innovations and opportunities in the water industry.

Currently, WQA has more than 2500 member companies around the world that now have access to its educational resources and opportunities for certification through its various programs. Click here to read more about its history milestones.
