Six Video Segments on Water Well Stewardship Made with Help from NGWA Past President

With the assistance of former NGWA President Loyd Watson, MGWC, NGWA Director of General Public Awareness Cliff Treyens spent April 26 and 27 in Loyd’s service area outside Nashville, Tennessee, to shoot six video segments on different aspects of water well stewardship.

These educational segments will be aired on the rural programming network, RFD-TV from late June until mid-September. In addition to their inherent value in educating well owners, the segments—in conjunction with commercials and lead-ins from the hosts of the network’s daily program, Market Day—will promote well owner educational tools being developed by NGWA and other partners in a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency grant.

Loyd’s wife, JoLinda, did a cameo appearance as a well owner during the videotaping. NGWA thanks Loyd, JoLinda, and their employees for once again serving NGWA, the groundwater industry, and well owners.
