In-Situ Inc. announces Adam Hobson, PG, has been promoted to the position of application development manager for groundwater to expand the company’s capacity to serve these critical markets.
As an expert in hydrologic monitoring and characterization, aquifer testing and data management, Hobson will focus on the development and use of innovative technologies to solve common and complex challenges in the areas of water quality, level, and flow monitoring and serve as the company’s designated subject matter expert and spokesman on all issues related to groundwater applications.
Before joining In-Situ, Hobson worked as a hydrogeologist for more than 20 years, addressing water and environmental issues throughout the world for many industries. In the mining sector, he’s served as project manager and technical director on projects that include water resources and geologic baseline and impact assessments, dewatering feasibility studies, water management planning, geotechnical stability, and contaminant transport and remediation studies.
“In-Situ was founded 40 years ago to produce innovative groundwater monitoring solutions, including the world’s first in-well water level data logger,” says Hobson. “It’s exciting to be part of a company that has that history and continues to be at the forefront of environmental monitoring instrumentation, mobile and cloud software, and telemetry.”
