In this newly created role, Hammond will be responsible for identifying and pursuing strategic growth and innovation opportunities for IGSHPA, which is a nonprofit, member-driven organization established in 1987 to advance ground source heat pump technology on local, state, national, and international levels. His initial efforts will be working with members to develop new training curriculum and update existing courses.
Hammond joins IGSHPA after working in the ground source heat pump industry that spans more than 30 years, including positions at ClimateMaster, Enertech, Geo-Flo, and WaterFurnace International Inc. He most recently served as vice president, technical services for Enertech Global LLC.
“Jeff brings a considerable amount of industry knowledge and management experience,” said Kortney Lull, chairperson of the IGSHPA Board of Directors. “That expertise will be invaluable in our efforts to grow the industry and enhance our leadership position in training.”
Hammond added, “IGSHPA’s goal of a unified effort in promoting geothermal technology through training and industry outreach makes this new challenge very exciting.”
Meet Hammond and the IGSHPA board members during Groundwater Week 2021, December 14-16 in Nashville, Tennessee, or at upcoming IGSHPA Town Hall meetings.
