Construction Trades Across Nation See 19% Increase in Enrollment

The National Student Clearinghouse reports that enrollment in higher-learning construction programs grew by 19 percent from 2021 to 2022.

The data also shows increases in multiple trade programs, including mechanic and repair programs which saw an enrollment increase of 11.5 percent. These increases happen at the same time overall enrollment declined 7.8 percent at public two-year colleges and 3.4 percent at public four-year institutions.
