The RKI GX-3R 4 Gas Confined Space Monitor (ATEX/CSA approved) from PK Safety Supply is the smallest and lightest confined space gas monitor and includes a three-year warranty on the monitor and sensors.
Weighing 3.52 ounces, it clips within a worker’s breathing zone. It simultaneously monitors and displays LEL combustibles, oxygen, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide. Carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide are now available in a combo micro sensor.
The LEL sensor has a unique design with two active filaments in one sensor to increase its resistance to silicone poisoning. If one filament gets poisoned, the second filament takes over. The new oxygen sensor is electrochemical with a life span of three to five-years.
